As the Chief Officer for Finance and Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence. This dynamic role requires a blend of strategic vision, hands-on project management, and a deep understanding of both financial and commercial aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, tax, controlling, procurement, logistics, credit risk, treasury, and facilities management.
  • Lead a team of 45 finance professionals, including 7 direct reports, ensuring efficient and effective department performance.
  • Drive the transition to a new ERP system, deciding between upgrading SAP or implementing an alternative solution.
  • Implement a paperless office initiative and new reporting structures in alignment with the latest shareholder expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with the new shareholder, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance financial processes.
  • Act as a strong partner to the commercial and technology divisions, providing insightful analysis on margins, sales channels, OPEX, and CAPEX.
  • Identify weaknesses within the organization and propose solutions to strengthen business operations.
  • Lead major transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery and tangible improvements.
  • Foster a culture of agility and continuous improvement, adapting organizational structures to enhance customer experience and reduce time to market.
  • Participate in weekly sprints to update project roadmaps and track progress.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial controlling, with a strong background in both accounting and tax.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and manage P&L across the entire organization.
  • Extensive experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering transformation initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and delegating within a senior team.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with IT and other departments.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, able to balance business orientation with project execution.
  • Previous experience in dynamic and fast-paced environments, preferably in banking, IT, technology, or service industries.
  • Ability to work in a non-hierarchical, non-formal, open-space office environment.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with a focus on implementing and overseeing change throughout the organization.
Required Education
  • A master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
