Job Description

We are looking for a Communication Engineer with experience in radio communication systems like TETRA or DMR. Direct knowledge of Motorola technologies is an advantage, but experience with similar systems from other vendors is also welcome. A solid grasp of digital radio networks and networking basics is essential. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and remotely commission Motorola-based radio communication systems.

  • Serve as a Level 3 escalation point for technical support, assisting customers in high-priority situations.

  • Provide 24/7 support availability on a rotation basis

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve communication and system-level issues.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Network, Support, Operations, Engineering) to align solution delivery.

  • Act as a technical liaison with external clients, guiding them through integration and configuration.

  • Travel for on-site commissioning as needed (primarily within Europe, occasional travel to USA or Asia).

  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and configuration records.

  • Offer tailored customization to deployment plans based on specific client needs and environments.

Requirements

Key Skills and Competencies

  • 2–5+ years of experience in radio communication systems integration.

  • Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals, with the ability to guide network teams in resolving connectivity or integration issues.

  • Hands-on experience with system deployment, remote and on-site commissioning, and troubleshooting complex communication infrastructures.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability to ad hoc priorities, and the ability to work independently.

  • Effective collaboration with internal support and operations teams.

  • Proven client-facing experience.

  • High emotional intelligence, a team-oriented mindset, and a respectful approach.

  • Willingness to travel internationally when needed.

Required Education
  • University degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge preferred.
