Join a leading organization in the data management space as a Data Catalogue Analyst, where you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining the data catalogue. You will work closely with data stewards, business users, and stakeholders to improve data quality, compliance, and accessibility.
Job Description
- Manage and optimize the Global Data Catalogue using Collibra, ensuring efficient documentation of data assets.
- Collaborate with data stewards and business users to improve data lineage, metadata management, reference data, and data quality.
- Develop SQL scripts and apply Python to enhance data discovery, mapping, and performance.
- Support the creation and enhancement of workflows within the data catalogue.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations.
- Promote best practices in data governance and act as a super user for the Collibra platform.
- Provide recommendations for improving Collibra functionalities based on user feedback and industry trends.
- Work in an Agile environment, supporting continuous improvements in data management.
- Enhance user experience (UX) within the data platform to improve accessibility and usability.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or data governance.
- Hands-on experience with Collibra is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA).
- Basic knowledge of SQL is required; familiarity with Java and Python is a plus.
- Experience working with metadata management, data lineage, and data quality processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Azure/Databricks is an advantage.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
