We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to help migrate current data warehouse architecture onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Job Description
  • Lead the cloudification and transformation of existing Data Warehouse architectures onto Google Cloud Platform
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, optimizing ETL processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored data solutions for analysts, data scientists, and software engineers
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies into the data ecosystem
  • Identify and solve performance bottlenecks to improve data processing workflows
  • Ensure data warehouse structures meet business demands, focusing on optimal design and execution
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, including
  • Hands-on experince in cloud technologies (ideally GCP), with a focus on tools like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataform.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, DWH/BI solutions development
  • Experience in ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse technologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Fluency in both English and German (minimum B2 level)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
Required Education

Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
