Job Description
- Lead the cloudification and transformation of existing Data Warehouse architectures onto Google Cloud Platform
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, optimizing ETL processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored data solutions for analysts, data scientists, and software engineers
- Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies into the data ecosystem
- Identify and solve performance bottlenecks to improve data processing workflows
- Ensure data warehouse structures meet business demands, focusing on optimal design and execution
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, including
- Hands-on experince in cloud technologies (ideally GCP), with a focus on tools like Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataform.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, DWH/BI solutions development
- Experience in ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and DevOps practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Fluency in both English and German (minimum B2 level)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
Required Education
Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related fields.
