Job Description
- Analyze and process geospatial data to support the planning and deployment of network infrastructure
- Utilize GIS tools to manage and interpret spatial data, including maps, elevation models, and geographic features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver targeted solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data transformation and analysis
- Integrate geospatial data into decision-making processes for infrastructure projects, such as mapping fiber optic routes and locating transmitter sites
- Contribute to network optimization by leveraging geolocation data to enhance Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
- Participate in and support agile workflows, aligning with the organization’s international teams
Requirements
- Background in GIS, geology, or geospatial sciences
- Hands-on experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS
- Programming skills in Python and SQL
- Solid understanding of geospatial data concepts, including elevation models and contour lines
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline development would be ideal
- Ability to interpret and analyze geological data for practical applications
- English language
