Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and automated processes from code to deployment.
- Leverage your expertise in cloud solutions to optimize infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate deployment, administration, and monitoring of our applications across various environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to ensure agile and efficient delivery of projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test, and production environments.
- Enhance system performance by implementing best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Participate in the planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products,
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the CI/CD pipeline infrastructure.
- Scripting for automation, deployment, and maintenance tasks.
- Active involvement in Scrum teams, contributing to agile processes and continuous delivery.
- Ensure cloud-based resources are optimized for performance and cost.
- Monitor system performance, respond to issues, and proactively work on resolutions.
- Document system configurations, processes, and environments to ensure knowledge sharing.
- Lead by example in code quality, architecture, and design decisions.
- Foster innovation and efficiency in our software delivery processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
- Proficient in CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services and solutions.
- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
- Experience working in Scrum/Agile development teams.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
