Job Description:
- Lead the strategy and management of both classical and modern cloud-based platforms.
- Develop and implement strategies for application migration to cloud environments, focusing on cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Oversee service and cost management for external service providers, including contract negotiations and expenditure optimization.
- Drive initiatives for infrastructure cost reduction while maintaining or enhancing performance and reliability.
- Establish and nurture a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Ensure a culture of empathy, accountability, transparency, and customer-centricity within the teams.
- Responsible for the delivery aspect of the role, not functioning as a line manager.
- Manage agile release streams from budgeting, design, development, testing, setup, to operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and strategize cloud platform management with a focus on cost optimization and operational stability.
- Implement cost-effective strategies for cloud migration.
- Manage service & cost with external providers for cloud platforms.
- Initiate infrastructure cost reduction initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative IT team culture.
- Empathetically lead teams, ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle management.
- Manage and staff teams effectively to ensure project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience in change management transformation initiatives.
- Experience in managing SW development and engineering teams.
- Familiarity with scaled agile approaches like SAFe.
- Ability to manage a team of 80-120 people per stream.
- Experience in managing the full lifecycle of product development.
- Being fluent in German is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver quality solutions on time.
- Servant leader with international experience in managing teams.
Required Education
- Master’s degree in Information Technologies, Business, or related field is preferred.
Required Language
- English - C1
- Fluency in German would be an advantage.
