Join a successful slovak IT company that is focused on online products and services. We are seeking a Head of IT Development to orchestrate the technology strategy and lead development teams. This role offers the opportunity to impact a product delivery directly.

Job Description:
- Develop, organize, and execute a comprehensive technology plan aligning with the company’s priorities
- Be responsible for fulfilling the development segment of the company’s product and corporate roadmap, including transformation into microservices
- Manage and develop the IT department in collaboration with team leaders; technological mentoring
- Actively lead and guide team leaders, ensuring close collaboration of the development teams and effective team management
- Facilitate internal and external communication of technical changes and innovations
- Be a member of the company’s Techboard to discuss the strategy and fullfilment of agree-upon goals
- Act as a point of contact for the mother company
Possibility to work on a permanent contract as well.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience on a management or a team-leader position
- Background in software development to effectively challenge and question team decisions
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
- Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality products
- Communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English
