Join a dynamic team working on a cutting-edge project that is transforming the judicial system in Germany. We are looking for an experienced Medior IT Tester to contribute to a high-impact project connecting key stakeholders such as police and courts. If you are passionate about software testing, eager to work with modern technologies, and fluent in German, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Job Description:
- Collaboration with a friendly and skilled team on a project aimed at modernizing the justice system in Germany
- Manual software testing with a focus on ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Engagement with external suppliers and development teams to maintain testing standards and processes
- Contribution to agile Scrum teams, ensuring seamless integration and communication with developers
- Remote work with occasional business trips to Germany (3-4 times per year) for team meetings and project updates
- Support of the transition to automated testing, with opportunities for skill development in Kubernetes, cloud environments, CI/CD, and SQL
- Close cooperation with a colleague who will assist in the training process
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual software testing on various stages of the development lifecycle
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams on testing protocols (including external developers)
- Reporting of defects, working with developers on efficient solutions
- Participation in Scrum meetings (sprint planning, review, retrospectives)
- Documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results
- Continuous learning and development, particularly in automated testing technologies
- Effective communication in German with both internal teams and external stakeholders
Requirements
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Language
- English - B2
- German - B2
