We are seeking an IT Testing Specialist who is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of a diverse client hardware environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing both manual and automated testing scripts, ensuring that software and hardware updates are implemented flawlessly across the systems.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute both manual and automated test scripts, focusing on client server testing procedures.
- Identify and resolve issues arising from Microsoft OS updates, vendor-specific driver or BIOS installations.
- Contribute to the integration of automated tests into the existing testing processes.
- Evaluate and select appropriate test automation tools and technologies.
- Design and develop automation solutions to meet business needs, focusing on non-functional tests.
- Document automated processes, including test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Help troubleshoot issues, ensuring the error-free functioning of client applications.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation purposes.
- A fundamental understanding of IP networks.
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and experience in virtualization.
- Strong understanding of client-server testing procedures.
- Experience in transitioning from manual to automated testing.
- Ability to document testing phases and defects comprehensively.
- Familiarity with Neo42 distribution scripts, UI-Path automation and Nexthink is welcomed.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is welcomed.
Required Language
- English - Minimum B2 level
