We are seeking an experienced Lead Architect specializing in Cloud technologies to oversee the ongoing transition to a new architecture. In this strategic role, you’ll guide the transformation into cloud environments, focusing on optimizing corporate cloud utilization. Your expertise in cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP), will be pivotal in driving technological advancement.

Job Description:

Lead the strategic direction and management of cloud transformations.
Ensure efficient utilization of cloud environments in a corporate setting.
Design data transfers and orchestrate combinations of cloud platforms for optimal transformation.
Advise on the use of cloud services from providers like AWS, GCP, and VMWare.
Provide a technological perspective on the utilization of cloud services.
Real-world experience in migration and virtualization, especially to GCP.
Govern and manage the architecture and development teams in cloud-related projects.
Define and implement cloud governance rules and boundaries to maintain infrastructure integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and its automation.
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services from AWS, GCP, and VMWare.
In-depth network knowledge, especially in IPv6.
Experience in leading architecture and development teams in cloud environments.
Strategic planning and execution of cloud transformations.
Expertise in comparing and contrasting AWS and GCP services.
Governance of cloud usage and infrastructure management.
Practical experience in cloud migrations, particularly to GCP.

Requirements

Strong background in cloud infrastructure and automation.
Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and services from AWS, GCP, and VMWare.
Advanced network knowledge, with a focus on IPv6.
Proven experience in leading and managing architecture and development teams.
Practical experience in migrating to and utilizing Google Cloud Platform.
Ability to set and enforce cloud governance rules.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Required Education

Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
