Job Description
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive load, stress, and performance testing strategies for a variety of applications and systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize test requirements and incorporate them into the automated testing process.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools to increase efficiency and test coverage.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks and performance issues, and recommend solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Work closely with the QA team to integrate automated load and performance tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Manage test environments, including setup, configuration, and data management for performance testing scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications through detailed performance testing.
- Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured automated test plans and test cases.
- Utilize performance testing tools and scripts to simulate high-load environments.
- Analyze performance testing data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system architecture and design appropriate performance test strategies.
- Document test results and collaborate with engineering teams to address performance issues.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and work with developers to implement optimizations.
- Maintain and enhance the performance testing framework to support future testing needs.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner or Gatling).
- Solid knowledge of programming languages (Java or Python)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Allure, Xray.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors comprehensively.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
