Job Description
- Oversee and refine financial controls, reporting, and budgeting processes
- Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations and tax requirements
- Manage cost analysis, resource allocation, and forecasting processes
- Act as a business partner to cross-functional teams, including operations and sales
- Develop and deliver regular financial reports to support company objectives
- Collaborate with regional teams, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational strategy
- Support the implementation of process implementation and improvements during the “start-up” phase
The role includes occasional travelling (including initial onboarding abroad).
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in financial controlling
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, and accounting principles (including IFRS)
- Proficiency in SAP and Excel, with the ability to analyze and present data effectively
- Familiarity with Slovak tax and accounting regulations
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in retail or multinational environments is a plus
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
- A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage
