Senior (Lead) Accountant for a Production Plant – HIRED

As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the bookkeeping, taxation, financial reporting, preparation data for controlling and compliance activities of the organization. Responsibilities:
– Lead the full scope responsibility for the company’s bookkeeping and taxation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local regulations.
– Drive monthly and yearly closing activities, guaranteeing timely and accurate financial reporting.
– Prepare comprehensive Financial Statements that provide valuable insights into our organization’s performance.
– Oversee statutory audits and act as a liaison with relevant authorities, including the Hungarian Tax Authorities and Customs Office.
– File tax returns, statistics, and represent the company in all tax-related matters.
– Manage intercompany reconciliations and clearing, ensuring efficient financial operations.
– Take charge of payment management, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
– Ensure compliance with all fiscal and legal obligations, keeping the organization on track with regulations and requirements.
– Utilize your basic controlling and analytical skills to support our Cluster Controller in the Czech Republic, fostering collaboration and delivering valuable financial insights.
– Coordinate the work of junior accountant and external payroll accountants, providing guidance and ensuring accurate financial operations.
– Report directly to the Country Plant Manager and Cluster Controller/Finance Director, providing them with crucial financial information and analysis.
