Job Description
- Design, build, and support complex SDN networks
- Develop and implement migration strategies from traditional networks to SDN architectures
- Execute project work, from concept through to implementation, within cloud environments, primarily Azure
- Conduct an analysis of large-scale network configurations and performance
- Provide third-level support to operations teams
- Create cloud network designs (planning and setting up infrastructure components)
- Configure, maintain, and optimize network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Document network structures
- Monitor network performance and implement routing protocols to ensure network reliability
Requirements
- Proven experience in administering large-scale SDN networks (LAN/WAN)
- Specialised knowledge of Cisco (ACI) or Juniper (Apstra) – must-have
- Strong hands-on knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Practical experience with the configuration, maintenance, and security management of network components
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and the ability to apply them to network management (formal certification not required).
- Skills in authentication and logging architecture, including DNS and routing protocol implementation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a task-oriented, detail-focused manner
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Required Education
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Required Language
- Fluent in English (B2 level or above)
