Job Description
- End-to-End Feasibility & Design: Lead the technical feasibility and design of network architectures, ensuring solutions meet customer requirements and operational standards
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network designs, serving as the primary technical expert
- Customer Consultation: Engage directly with the client to gather requirements, develop solutions, and advise on network functionalities
- Network Architecture Development
- Solution Documentation: Transition network solutions into comprehensive documentation for implementation by operational teams
- Firewall and Routing Configuration
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure continuous development and integration of new customer requirements into the architecture concept
- Organizational Leadership: Lead and manage the technical aspects of solution implementation, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery
The position might require travelling, up to 30% of working time.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in network architecture design and planning
- Expertise in IP protocols, routing, switching, and network security (Senior level)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (a must-have)
- Proficient in using MS Visio, Jira, Confluence, DrawIO for architecture designs
- English AND German – advanced
- Strong communication and presentation skills for client consultations
Required Education
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering Sciences, or equivalent education with relevant experience.
